INDIGO study: INvestigating DIGital Outcomes Community study
You may have received a text or email from us regarding this trial.
The INvestigating DIGital Outcomes Community study, led by Chief Investigator Dr. Matthew Williams and sponsored by Imperial College London, is an important research project focused on people living long-term after a cancer diagnosis. This observational study aims to understand their quality of life and identify the community services they use to manage lasting effects of their cancer or treatment. It also explores effective ways to gather this information using online surveys, known as Patient-Reported Outcome Measures.
Participants/patients complete a one-time online questionnaire at their convenience. If they choose, they may also receive brief follow-up surveys after 7 days and 12 months.
Anyone over 16 who received a cancer diagnosis or treatment more than 12 months ago can participate. They must have online access via a device and be able to understand written English. Individuals recently diagnosed (less than 12 months ago) or unable to use the online platform are excluded.
The study’s goal is to establish a strong method for collecting patient information, which is expected to help healthcare services better address patients’ long-term unmet needs. It may also help participants reflect on ways to improve their own quality of life.
