The Meon Health Practice Research Team is conducting several research trials

As a Meon Health Practice patient you may receive an invite via email or text, asking if you would like to join a specific trial.

Research is vital to improving the health of the population and Meon Health Practice is a research-active practice. Our Research Team consists of Lead Research GP, Dr Rem Lee, and Clinical Research Nurse, Barbara Watkins.

Why we carry out research

Research is critical in helping prevent, diagnose, and cure diseases. We currently have research studies which include, Asthma, Crohn’s Disease, Shingles, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Atrial Fibrillation.

When you participate in a clinical trial you are making a huge contribution and potentially helping many other people.

You can also be involved in a much wider field of research through Be Part of Research. This is a free service helping people to find and take part in health and care research. Please click on the link Be Part of Research to find out more.
