Who is eligible for the COVID-19 and free Flu Vaccine this Autumn?

With the autumn Flu and COVID-19 vaccination programme well underway, we are aware that some patients are not sure what jab they are eligible for.    

The image below outlines the eligibility criteria.

• This year a change to COVID-19 eligibility means that everyone over the age of 75, those that are immunosuppressed and those in care homes for older adults are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
• Like last year, everyone over the age of 65, pregnant women and those with health conditions such as diabetes or chronic kidney disease are eligible for the flu vaccine.
