Non-urgent advice: Dementia Advice Service

There’s no need to navigate your dementia journey alone. Andover Mind provide services across Hampshire. Their dementia advisors provide one to one support for people living with dementia and their carers, family and friends.
If you have a diagnosis of dementia, mild cognitive impairment, or are concerned about your memory, they are here to help.

Their services are free and they accept self-referrals via their website, telephone or email.

Weekly socials
Activity club is held every Thursday at Holy Trinity Church, Fareham, 1pm – 3pm for a weekly social meet-up. Activities include; arts & crafts, reminiscence, brain stimulation games and conversation. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served.

Some weeks have guest speakers talking about health & social care, finance and benefits and coping strategies. The event is for anyone living with dementia including family, friends and carers.

Practical support
You can book a 1:1 appointment with a Dementia Support worker if you need help with form filling, claiming attendance allowance, information about Power of Attorney, home help, respite, or residential care.
