Changing your personal details

It is important that we have your up-to-date personal details in case we need to contact you and to update your health record.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you change your address, telephone number, email or name.

If your name has changed due to marriage or by deed poll, you will need to provide a copy of the appropriate certificate.

Update your phone number in Anima

In order to update any of your contact information, you must login to your Anima account. In your Dashboard, you will see a series of tabs on the left hand side of your screen. Click on “User settings”.

Then, click on “Your preferences,” where you can scroll down to the bottom of the page, and enter your new phone number in “Update your phone number”.

Make sure to click on “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page to ensure your new phone number is saved to your account.

Update your email address in Anima

Login to your Anima account with your current email address and password. Once you are on the Dashboard page, click “User settings” on the left hand pane.

Click on the top tab, labelled “Login details”. Enter your new email address in the box labelled “Update your email address.” Then click the blue button labelled “CONFIRM NEW EMAIL.”

You will be required to verify your email address again once you change it. Once you confirm your new email address, a new screen will open with further instructions on how to verify it.

Update your GP Practice in Anima

If you are transferring from another Anima-based GP practice to our practice, you need to update your practice details in your patient account.

Log into your Anima Patient Account and select Settings. Next, click I’ve changed my GP Practice. Finally, update your GP Practice details to your new Anima GP Practice and select save changes.
