A SurgeryPod is a machine connected to a computer which can accurately take readings such as weight and blood pressure measurements. You can use a SurgeryPod at your own convenience during our opening hours, without making an appointment.
Non-urgent advice: Use our SurgeryPod to
- measure your blood pressure
- find out your weight and calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI)
- enter information regarding your lifestyle such as smoking, alcohol, exercise and diet
- carry out a series of stress and anxiety questionnaires.
Your results will be automatically saved to your patient record.
The SurgeryPod is easy to use with a touchscreen to guide you through the process. Just enter your name and date of birth, follow the easy step-by-step instructions.
